cover a+

Diseño de Gürbüz Doğan Ekşioğlu (Turquía, 1954), caricaturista y diseñador gráfico. Colaborador de The Atlantic, Forbes, The New York Times y The New Yorker.

In my opinion, it would be the Twin Towers in the backround sketch. Although now ghostly images, they still exist.

Well, Mano, but that would be another concept. Your concept.

Even the eraser cannot fully remove the totality of death, loss, pain, and sacrifice caused by the actions of beings as this image represents. Yet the continuos destruction of innocent human life will remain. We have exterminated a principle pest, yet it's pestilence remains.
Hence, the "image" still haunts us, the world, and mankind, as it has always been the reality with such demons. One evil man is gone, yet evil permeates within all societies, independent of any historical timeline. The tools of evil men have always been the same. Evil has always ben fueled by power, ignorance, envy, ego and hatred toward others. This will always haunt us, and eventually destroy us, regardless of our perception of morality, evils flame will eventually burn mankind.
